At Zurich, we are continually looking for ways to help you build and strengthen the relationships you have with your customers.

That’s why in 2015 we carried out a major programme of research with brokers, to find out what you thought of Zurich’s mid-market corporate proposition, and how well it aligned with your business development plans.

The research confirmed that you value our trade sector policy covers across our six key trade sectors – manufacturing, food and beverage, wholesale and retail, sports, leisure and entertainment, technology and communications, and professional business services.

It was also clear that you value help in providing tailored propositions for your customers, and want to be able to utilise a variety of online tools, in order to enhance your customer relationships in a cost-effective way.

Our research also identified that you’re looking to insurers to evolve their propositions to cater for emerging risks, in particular cyber risk.

Enhanced mid-market corporate proposition

We have listened to your views, and are offering a refreshed mid-market corporate proposition that addresses your input. Our refreshed proposition offers your customers sector-relevant cover and value-added services as part of their premiums, with the option for tailored cover and risk management to suit their individual business needs.

Virtual-Consulting icon

Virtual Consulting – This is a free online risk management tool, that uses Zurich claims information to help your customers understand the most frequent causes of loss within their industry sector, and provides guidance on how to mitigate these risks. There is a dedicated phone line available for customers who require extra risk management support and expertise.

Reputation-com icon

Reputation.com – Customers can now receive free online reputation management and a personalised reputation report for their business, with upgrade options available that are exclusive to Zurich. Online reputation is becoming increasingly important for your customers’ growth agenda, with three out of five consumers now turning to online reviews before making a purchase.

BI-calculator icon

Business Interruption Calculator – We know that underinsurance is a significant concern for many, with up to 40% of companies underinsuring their business interruption (BI) policies. The BI calculator is an easy-to-use tool that helps you and your customers review the adequacy of their BI sums insured. We recognise that the BI sum insured may be higher than expected, so we’ll provide your customers with a discount on their BI premium, if the tool’s questions are completed within three months of the policy start date.

Disaster-recovery icon

Disaster Recovery – Provided by our specialist partner, First Recovery, our Disaster Recovery service will help to limit the impact of a crisis on your customers’ normal business operations, acting within 24 hours of any incident.

Zurich-risk-insight icon

Zurich Risk Insights – A new way to alert your customers to the risks facing their business. You and your customers are now able to access insights from our experts and third party panellists, providing you with the expertise to help manage your customers’ risks more effectively.

Cyber-protection icon

Cyber protection90% of larger businesses have suffered a cyber breach within the past year. Our cyber extension, part of our Public Liability policy, covers the costs of forensic investigations up to £50,000, should a breach occur.
